English Riviera Summer Open 2024
For the first time in two years, we can confidently say this won’t be our last Summer Open as we're delighted to announce we've secured our home at Fleet Walk, Torquay! And as well as this, 2024 marks 10 years since we established our first gallery venue on the English Riviera, so this Summer is the perfect chance for us to celebrate both these milestones! Our Summer Open is now a well-established event on our annual calendar having originally started purely by chance several years ago. Each year the event sees us build on previous shows as we welcome old and new artists to Torbay for our personal homage to the great institution that is the Royal Academy Summer Show. Starting at the beginning of July and running through until 1st September, the exhibition promises to be as rich and diverse as in previous years.

I am a visual artist from Transylvania, living and working in Exeter. Experimenting, exploring possibilities and pushing boundaries are at the heart of what I do. My creative journey began with photography and evolved into the expressive world of painting in 2020. Being passionate about the great outdoors and natural world, I often draw inspiration from my adventures and observations, aiming to transfer feelings, stories and concepts onto the canvas. Working in both figurative and abstract styles, I love exploring the intricacies of emotions and nature's raw beauty & energy. My more complex artworks are usually metaphorical and/or surreal narratives about life and the human condition.
