Collaboration and Interpretation
Harnessing Creativity
Artizan Collective are delighted to be welcoming London based, ‘The Artists' Pool’ to the gallery for a month-long exhibition, with their exhibition, Human Experience II following its successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe in August this year.
Whilst some members have participated in some of our exhibitions previously, this will be the first collaboration between ourselves and the whole group whose combined practice spans a huge spectrum of visual arts each with their own interpretation of our World and the Human Experience within it.
The Artists' Pool was established with the intention of embracing the power of art to bring people together and support their creativity. The team believe in art’s ability to heal and communicate across social and cultural boundaries, they use their exhibitions and workshops to promote creativity and well-being in communities, encouraging other organisations and charities to bring art into their environments.
Previous collaborations include running workshops with the Woman’s Trust and Crisis Skylight London, nurturing creativity and raising awareness for vulnerable members of society, and a charity art auction raising over funds for CALM and Maggie's Edinburgh. A percentage of sales during most of their exhibitions are donated to charity.
So far the group have worked with artists from all genres, to help develop their creative goals, from supporting and promoting young artists in the Unbound exhibitions to facilitating the development of professional creatives with open submissions and international opportunities.
Each team member brings their unique personality and skill set to the pool – a mixture of cultures and experiences with a harmonious goal – to promote the positivity, connectivity and healing power of art.'
The exhibition will launch on Saturday 5th October and will the run until 3rd November at our Fleet Street Gallery.
