White Elephant

I am by trade a carpenter and joiner and have a passion for working with wood and particularly with re-claimed wood that I can turn into artwork.  My pieces are marketed under the name 'Conkers' with a tag of 'We're nuts about wood' which couldn't be further from the truth.   I have worked with wood all of my life and am now thrilled to be able to share this passion with others.

 

All my pieces of art are handmade by myself, all wood is reclaimed and naturally sustainable, in this collection my subject matter is nature bringing wood and wildlife together - all artwork is on re-claimed floorboards which have been treated for a darker background with my interpretation of wild animals in a multitude of colours.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
