Tide II

Alison uses a variety of kiln forming techniques using both sheet glass and powders to produce vessels, sculptural pieces and wall hangings. Most of her inspiration is taken from the colours and patterns that occur naturally in the landscape, and the coast and sea have a particular draw

This gravity formed vessel attempts to catch the varying colours of the water as the tide washes over the sand.  From the palest aquamarine through to deep vibrant turquoise.
