For me this work represents a journey into the concept of the art of tapestry, clear both in its methodology as well as its visual impact. It has been influenced by the wonderful textiles work I have seen in South Africa. The artisans of the world speak from the same hymn sheet, to produce beauty is to understand the global language of art.
