Sue Coleman
Sue is a retired local government Cultural Services Manager living in Cornwall. After leaving her public services career to pursue her visual arts passion, Sue trained in traditional printmaking techniques in the south west.
Sue now works in pen and ink, printmaking across all styles including traditional etching. Sue collaborates with a number of groups to exhibit and create new work including Swanskin Printmakers, Tamar Valley Printmakers (currently exhibiting in the Cape Cod Museum of Art as part of the Mayflower 400 Commemorations) and is part of the Zebadiah Art and Craft Makers Collective Shop in Launceston.
Sue’s work is inspired by the people and places around the south west and she continues to explore both landscape and portraiture themes.
Sue also runs regular printmaking courses in Callington and provides workshops at a number festivals and shows across the south west.
This collagraph was inspired by the coastline and cliff tops in Cornwall
