The Artist is influenced by nature and landscape. The sea and mountains have held an allure since her childhood and holidays in Ireland. Gaining a sense of solace, she engages with her surroundings. The landscape evokes a feeling of mystery and enigma. For her being in the landscape is a place to escape, when she paints, she can escape.

 

This small series of paintings are influenced by restriction in our lives, the need for connection, with the landscape and people.
