Digital Photography by Anna Grayson
Le Radeau de Brexit (after Géricault)
Anna Grayson was originally a geologist by training and a writer and broadcaster by profession. Ten years ago, she spent a year at Art School and never looked back. She has become best known for her recreations of famous works of art as photographs, sometimes with updates and amusing twists.
These have been hung several times in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, in the South West Academy and currently in the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol. She has had solo shows in Artizan and other galleries in Devon, including the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter. Her work has found its way into private collections all around the world. A view has been expressed that it might be "...worth a bit when she's dead".
