Lady With A Tabby Cat (After Leonard's Lady With An Ermine)
Anna Grayson
Anna Grayson is a geologist by training and was a science writer and broadcaster by profession. Ten years ago she took early retirement and went to art school and has not looked back. She is best known for re-imagining famous works of art as photographs, updating and adding political correctness along the way. Choosing the right frame to recreate an illusion of an original painting is an important part of the process. Several of Anna's photo-pastiches have been hung in the Royal Academy in London, and she has previously been a regular exhibitor with the South West Academy in Exeter. She has also exhibited at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol and last year had a major solo show of her work in the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter. The appeal of her work to the collector and for the domestic environment is that you get your favourite old master and an original contemporary piece all in one.
Prints of all her photographs are available to order.Digital Photograph on Archival Paper
