'Dressed' With Pride

Over the last 4 years I’ve grown in confidence as an artist, developing a unique, organic style of pen and ink drawing. Whilst I have the initial concept of what I’ll create, the intricate detail grows and unfolds as I draw. This happens whether I’m working on paper or supersizing images for murals. A regular on Paignton beach I can’t help myself, and regularly come home with a pocket full of beach treasure. This led to the creation of Dressed Crabs; combining beautifully decorated shell bodies with painted pen and ink legs and claws, each one is a quirky homage to the humble Devonshire crab.
