Brewing Storms

I have played with clay for 25 years, and appreciate the feel and fluidity of clay. Using slips, oxides and glazes to give different colours and textures adds an excitement to the clay. The outcome of the piece is not always in line with the original thought, but becomes and agreement between the potter and the clay; sometimes with a very surprising effect. I take inspiration from the elements of the World around us.
