Barbed Wire Beach

Sue Coleman is a full-time artist who turned to printmaking after retiring from a career in the local government cultural sector in 2015. Her work reflects her travels, both near and far, evoking cherished memories of time spent with loved ones in beautiful places. Inspired by light and reflections, Sue begins her creative process with sketches and photographs, which she develops into prints across various traditional mediums.

 

Sue exhibits widely in the Southwest and has recently shown work with the Royal West of England Academy. She is also an active teacher, offering courses and workshops in printmaking techniques.

 

A member of the Tamar Print Workshop, the Devon Art Society, Torbay Guild, and Brixham Art Society, Sue is also a Director of the Devon Artists Network, contributing to the vibrant art community in the region.
