"Arbor" Lamp

 

Lyndsey is a glass artist who is exploring the crafts of stained glass and silk-screen printing together. Using enamels to silkscreen onto glass, she then multi-kiln fires them to permanently imbed the images. For her, experimenting with these processes is challenging, detailed and yet highly rewarding. Making each piece is unique, as it’s impossible to know what will come out after each firing. The glass will make each piece its own.

 

Each piece is individually made in her small studio on the outskirts of Exeter, in Devon. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding natural wilds of Devon and beyond, unifying interests in oddities, curios and symbolism, evoking a sense of the occult and mythical wonder.
