Anstey's cove

I began painting in 2002 and found I was drawn to painting outside on location, a genre known as plein air. I work within a two-hour time frame to try and capture a scene that changes constantly.

The moving light and the weather conditions are real challenge but worth it - I think the final result offers a really loose and interesting picture.

In 2018 I was delighted to be elected an Academician of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts (SWAc).
