Ancient Land

I am an East Devon based artist and art teacher working primarily with ink, watercolour, and acrylics but overall, with a love of colour whatever medium I am painting in. I work at Umborne Bridge Studio in Colyton and at the studio we try to promote environmentally friendly practices and embrace the seasons - this is an intrinsic part of the art I make.

 

My work reflects the joy I find in the land and seascapes of the place I am lucky enough to live in, from the smallest easily overlooked corner of a field to the vast panorama of a deserted beach in winter. I always hope to share that joy I find with those who view my paintings, inviting them to see what I see on my travels around the South West.
