A Tribute To Mondrian

After studying Fine Art and Photography for 6 years I have recently discovered a love for glass. I am drawn primarily to the delicate fragile nature of the material and how this can be translated into a 3D Artwork.

 

I am inspired by nature (in particular the sea) and the power that the ocean has to destroy yet the fragile balance we must provide in order to protect our planet. I enjoy the abstract and mesmerizing form glass can take when heated to different temperatures and combined with other types of glass and materials.

 

My work takes the form of interior 3D sculptures as well as jewellery which I consider wearable artworks. I have been lucky enough to participate in over 50 exhibitions in the last two years alone and am constantly working towards pushing the possibilities of the materials to their limit.
