A Row of Purple Beach Huts

I am a self-taught painter, working in the naïve style using mixed media. I paint on most days. I don’t follow any rules and freely play around with perspective and shape to create something distinctive and colourful but also surprising.  

My pieces are at once both melancholic and calming. I love moody skies and lonely landscapes.  I strive for a delicate balance of calm and chaos.

These pieces are mainly painted, but as a mixed-media artist sometimes I also enjoy the crisp sharp lines of collage.
