A Fine Day's Riding

This work  was created using the monotype printing process. Commonly mistaken for a print of an original work, a monotype is a one off piece designed in reverse using high quality printers ink, rag rolling techniques and white spirit. Once the printing plate has been pressed the ink, and the image, is tranfered to the paper and the printing plate is blank.

The process ensures that no two monoprints are identical. A Fine Days Riding uses mixed media and includes some finishing accents with Gouache.
