The South Hams, Devon, has been Diana Booth's home for many years and it was some time ago that she returned to painting with renewed vision and energy exploring a vibrant approach to creativity. Delighting in the flexibility, malleability and rich colour of oil paint, Diana creates contemporary, semi-abstract seascapes, landscapes, bird and flower paintings.

Whilst trips to New Zealand have often offered particular inspiration, whether at home or abroad the effect of constantly changing light on sea and landscapes, evoke the strong emotions which Diana goes on to express in her art. Some works are specific in the sources they represent, whilst others are remembered coves, cliffs and coastlines, amalgamations inspired by a life lived along the coastlines of Devon.
