An Intuitive Response

Artizan are delighted to be opening their exhibition programme for 2023 with a solo show of coastal inspired works by Teignmouth based and award winning artist, Amanda Lyon-Smith.

Inspired by her love of Devon, Amanda's work is an intuitive response to her surroundings, starting with initial loose and energetic mark making, using many tools and mediums, her work bounces between the rules of composition and pure instinct, evolving into the final pieces that will be shown in this exhibition.
