"What started out as a hobby to relax from her work in Optometry has evolved into a diverse set of skills, allowing Fiona to take personalised commissions for a range of glass projects.

Her creative journey began with a desire to create some stained glass windows to have some privacy in her village home. The skills to achieve this were developed during a City and Guilds level 2 qualification in decorative stained glass. Later on her attention turned to glass fusing following a weekend workshop to make a kitchen splashback for her own home. She developed a passion for working with glass and enrolled on further fusing masterclasses at Plymouth College of Art. Armed with new skills she has recently invested in her own glass fusing kiln and other equipment, which has opened up further new opportunities to create, which she looks forward to sharing with future clients



She has taken part in Devon Open Studio's as one of Eight Artists at Taag in 2017, and more recently at the first Torbay Art Show (October 2018)
