Chrystine is a UNESCO ambassador artist for English Riviera Geopark.

She works in different mediums but primarily in pewter.

Chrystine creates an alternative to traditional paintings on canvas. She is fascinated by the way pewter can be given vitality and beauty by the many shapes, textures, and patinas that are possible, using a combination of natural sources: water, air and fire. Some are spontaneous but others are more controlled.

She is inspired by landscapes, natural organic and geometric forms, particularly the beaches near her home. The motion and textures in the sea are most fascinating and it is these that are recreated in her pewter images.
